  • A friend of mine is a musician. About a decade or two ago I went over to his house and he said that he had to get a new fan to fix his computer. I asked him what was going on, so he turned it on and I heard that tick-tick-tick of the read head. I had to let him know it was his hard drive. He had a lot backed up, but not everything, and not the stuff he’d been working on the past couple weeks. Just a bummer. But he did set up a backup program after that.

  • A couple of things I disagree with here. All those mentioned absolutely belong in the same category as trump. Really only about 30% of eligible voters elected trump (we really need to work on voter turnout). What the wackos on the right call the radical left is so center it’s painful. 80s republicans are about the equivalent of what the Dems are now. And fuck the right for trying to take away people’s rights to live and pursue happiness. This is not a “both sides” issue by any stretch.

  • Sure you can argue that the DNC throws it’s weight behind certain candidates in terms of money and exposure, sure the order of the primaries influences how the later ones tend to lead. And superdelegates will always be controversial. But you can’t argue in good faith…

This is exactly what I’m arguing. In good faith. To dismiss the impact of those concerns is just putting your head in the sand to hide from reality. Sure there are exceptions to the rule. AOC taking out Crowley for example. But as we’ve seen, that made waves, and the boys at the top, they did not like waves.
