I don’t mind see leeway in their job but they were given way to much leeway.
The nanny state. Doesn’t interest me.
Donate to the charity you want but don’t use my tax money for programs that wasteful and ineffective.
You are free to heal the sick or feed the hungry. Nobody is stopping you from using your money to do either. Donate to any charity you see fit.
I’ve always thought the best way to solve this problem is more regulations of corporate structures. You only get free rein if you accept the liability.
Capitalism is the private ownership of property.

Not sure what you mean by a small group. Anyone who a pension, a 401k, etc is an investor. Almost every American is an investor. It’s how we fund our retirements.
When he bought Tesla, he didn’t own X. He was wealthy but not insanely wealthy.
I wish he hadn’t bought x and just stuck to cars and rocket ships.
Most of our economy is small business.
The problem is large companies have a large influence on politics, etc that they shouldn’t have.
Many of our regulations are nothing more than a barrier for a small business to start.
It’s why I praise Elon for growing Tesla. Only someone with his wealth and connections could push the EV industry to where it is now.
Doesn’t mean I like Elon as a person but that is where we are now. To get a new idea going, we need a mega wealthy person to do it and that shouldn’t be the case.
I am very much a capitalist at heart. It’s the only system proven to raise the quality of life for everyone. The current corporatism isn’t the same as capitalism. I’m not a fan of that.

He doesn’t have the charisma in my opinion. He polices are mostly solid. I think he’s overly focused on the culture war. The reason I won’t vote for him is that he comes off petty.

The article is talking about the research of Thomas Le. He believes that Asian women who are internally racist, want to date white men.
The issue is how he defines internal racism. The two question were shown as lighter skin is better and sometimes I wish I wasn’t Asian.
The first question ignores lighter skin has always been more desired in many Asian cultures going back thousands of years. It meant a high class person since they weren’t exposed to the sun. It has nothing to do with being white.
The second question by itself doesn’t provide any useful data. My kid wanted to be Chinese when she was younger. She wasn’t racist towards herself. She just wanted to be Chinese.
A misdemeanor conviction is a minor conviction. A serious crime is a felony.
The president needs some immunity to do their job.
I think you’ll see more precision in future cases. This was more of a blanket ruling since they were trying to ignore immunity given to presidents.
As they sort through the charges, I suspect they’ll come back to scotus.
I am not against some immunity but I am against complete immunity.
