Eh I dunno, I got bored of it before I finished the story or explored the other half of the map. Feels like a bit of a failing there. 30 hours would be fine if it was a fully contained experience.

This doesn’t even make sense to me. Are we assuming these people don’t own their own homes and are still paying rent to reach these figures? 31k to be ‘moderate’ seems absolutely stupid to me if housing is taken care of, and who has 31k a year pension but didn’t pay off their mortgage by retirement? Seems their definition of comfortable must include a lot of expensive holidays.
Maybe she should buy twitter and ban the guy, or is this the wrong billionaire I am thinking of?
Hogwarts is fun for about 30 hours roleplaying as a wizard, as a casual potter fan. I got really bored of it after that and never finished the game. At its core it really is very generic, it’s really propped up by the IP. That’s not to say it’s bad by any means but its not got the depth of Zelda.
Exactly lol. He is really going to let his campaign die over not taking his boots off? It’s quite obviously true and he can go in the high heel club with Trump and Putin.
House prices are going down. Just not by as much as many expect because ultimately there is still a housing shortage I guess. Also inflation is perhaps offsetting the actual drop in figures but technically is lowering prices too.
Not for me sadly.
Yep, in the UK it’s part of the theory test, you have to know how and when to check air and fluid levels in order to get a licence.
Where are you from where those things are not part of a driving test?
Yeah good point. They are just stress testing, for free. Legends.
I made a second account on lemm.ee - it’s big so has all the connections you could need and has amazing uptime.
I’m sure the search problem will be solved somehow. Like all the content is on each instance so its just a case of it being accessible and indexed by google I guess?
People having to work harder is good? No I disagree with that entirely.
Part of what makes reddit so amazing is the amount of amazing knowledge and answers you can find from google.
Comparing the two communities, reddit nearly always has way more quality content and news for me though for the time being. Often even with big news it’s just not here on Lemmy at all. Many posts also have 0 comments and you just wouldn’t see that on Reddit. Once Sync can create posts I will probably start x-posting more from reddit to lemmy for communities I am most interested in.
For now I think I will start browsing Lemmy and then visit Reddit for anything I missed. Keeping my posting and commenting over here mostly because I’d like to see this place grow.
I mean fair I guess we’re on the same page there then. But if it caters to a different clientele then the existing clientele will move elsewhere was really what I was getting at, and that may possibly be here.
I mean Facebook is actually a perfect example though no? I don’t know anyone below 40 who uses it. Eventually people get fed up of these stupid websites and move elsewhere.
Reddit will be around just like Facebook sure, but somewhere else will pick up the slack.
In Facebooks case that was Instagram largely which you know, also they owned. In Reddits case it may be Lemmy it may be elsewhere, we will see.
I think those issues will be solved though. Apps will increasingly make onboarding simpler so Lemmy will be as simple to use as Reddit.
At that point really its just a case of waiting for Reddit to fuck itself, which it absolutely will do eventually via corporate greed, and there we go, all the Lemmy content anyone could ever need.
Are museums also an issue for holding such artifacts or do you just have a problem with individuals? Because to me ownership or an item doesn’t mean you agree with what it represents. Like it or not the Nazi party has a lot of historical significance.
Now I don’t know anything about Lemmy as a person so he may well be a POS I have no idea but if the above is your basis for it, then it’s weak.
I really like Vivaldi’s tab management on Android myself. It’s more desktop like.
I noticed in my local supermarket in the UK they started wearing cameras too it’s really weird. I’m really not sure what their goal is - it will never help shoplifting as much as static cameras, and seems a lot of effort to safeguard against abusive customers.
