In seriousness though, I find the trackpads to be very useful for precision. Unfortunately, you have to build up the skill, like anything else. Work at it over time and you should get there. For practice, really depends on what you want to play. I’d suggest something that has a good system for criticals/headshots. Looks like Aim Lab might work on the deck, so maybe try that?

This is also similar to the cause of one of the first heavily-documented medication-related disasters in the US, which led to the current FDA regulatory process. In 1935, the antibiotic sulfanilamide was discovered. It isn’t very soluble in most things, so was typically manufactured as tablets. In 1937, S.E. Massangill’s chief pharmacist and chemist announced raspberry-flavored elixir sulfanilamide, a syrup form of the antibiotic. It went through no testing for safety or efficacy.

The diethylene glycol (DEG) used to dissolve the sulfanilamide caused at least 100 people to have a far worse time than your happy bucket creature, on account of sudden, acute kidney failure due to the DEG being metabolized into oxalic acid.

I do agree with you that it’s a cool chemical though (outside of the toxicity). Personally, I’d say that my favorite crystal might be iron pyrite. It can be used to spark a fire (like flint) and is showing some possible use as a semiconductor for photovoltaics. More than that, though, it forms two rather distinct and neat crystal shapes: cubes and pyritohedra (natural dodecahedra). And it’s nice and shiny, while having fairly low monetary value.

This logical fallacy is called “Denying the Correlative”. It’s basically the opposite of a False Dilemma. In this electoral system, there are two statistically relevant choices: supporting Biden OR supporting Trump. You are exactly correct. A lot of Americans think of the President as the sole arbiter of government authority, despite the fact that they are just the head of one of three branches of government. As head of the Executive, they have a ton of agencies and advisors who report to them.

All three of those are actually not from the Baby Boomer / Me Generation but The Silent Generation. The previous one. RBG and Feinstein were born in 1933, Biden is the youngest of them, born in 1942.

The Senate is the trickier one to solve. It was not intended to be a proportional body originally. In the short term, the balance could be impacted by not treating politicians as above the law and actually prosecuting crimes that they have openly committed.

State legislatures effectively are only going to be fixed with a new court or voters overcoming the gerrymandering.

A plan to keep Republicans out of office permanently so that they can never wield this new power in retaliation (even Lincoln messed up on that one)

That one is simpler than it sounds. Restore the proportionality of the House of Representatives (broken by the Apportionment Act of 1911). The GOP is a minority party and would not have a chance if their voice wasn’t amplified.

As long as you’re using TCP (what SSH uses) or a similar protocol, you should be able to deal with a situation like that. You’d mainly need to ensure that your client and server are tuned to meet your needs. With TCP, every packet is considered important and if the receiver does not acknowledge receipt, the sender will resend.

The biggest overhaul was the Apportionment Act of 1911, which destroyed proportional representation in the US House of Representatives and Electoral College. If not for that, the GOP would have to move Left to gain support from high population states.
