Tbh i have never been a reddit user , or rather did not frequent to reddit , however i was on fediverse since long , the recent boom in lemmy has made this a better place to be !

Ah this is much needed response ! I switched servers but lemmy.world is still my go to server , it was down so much that I had to try alternative ones ! Good it know its not a load issue !

Well obviously a language model is trained on old data , google has been webscraping the data to provide this!

They are mostly large language models , I have trained few smaller models myself, they generally splurt out next word depending on the last word , another thing they are incapable of, is spontaneous generation, they heavily depend on the question , or a preceding string ! But most companies are portraying it as AGI , already !

I think you should keep it infinity for now , since people know the reddit branding and moving forward when the client is well know you can change !
