Yes it’s probably small village life. Those aren’t comfy shoes either. Brittany is quite rural besides the few big cities and towns. A lot like Cornwall in the UK over the channel, and same Celtic history.

It’s really hard to tell. I imagine mould and bird poop would have done something to it if it was an original picture back in 1986 when they fled.
