Cha cha (喳咋)
Imagine red bean soup, with a slight taste of coconut.
I code stuff. I draw stuff.
I’m a Hongkonger 🇭🇰
If you’re a westerner coming here because you’re arguing with me about something in HK/China/Asia, I forgive you for your misunderstandings.

I do have that. I have been through the pain of running the OS on an HDD with my old computer and ever since I got an SSD, I can’t return.

Child me draws.
Adult me thinks.
You know why we lack philosophy now
I have an internal DVD-RW drive, but I disconnected the cable to use it for a new HDD I bought a few weeks ago
High humidity is worse, and it’s for at least 6 months
Ok this is getting pointless. I’m just stating that I use air conditioner, and Hong Kong is so fking small the median apartment size is like 430 sqft. Most households don’t need and can’t afford a vent.
Yes. It’s Asian culture :)
Living with your parents and taking care of them is considered a good quality
it doesn’t get hot where you live.
23.5°N, subtropical, average summer air temperature 32°C
I just ranted about it not supporting Cantonese the other day
耶~~~!
I think that already exists? I remember seeing it on Lemmy some months ago. I’ll try to find it.
Ah right, vents. I don’t have any. I don’t think anyone at where I live has vents in their houses ( actually, apartments)
And I just felt like it would be common sense to trap heat/cold.
Isn’t that common sense? The closing doors and windows part
Blue note support!
The fun thing is that, the Internet lacks Cantonese support.
It makes sense, but it hurts. Sometimes I talk about niche Asian stuff and get blasted by people assuming I’m American.
如果我開始用中文/廣東話咁你點算?
Red beans have their own kind of sweet. I don’t know what to compare them with.
I’d say you can try to think of boba tea (not western i know), but instead it’s hot, with textures of very fine sand.
