1 year agoTotally fair, too. I used to “own” Resident Evil 4 on Xbox 360, but it didn’t count the same once the Xbox One released. Suddenly the license was revoked, and I was expected to repurchase the game.
Steam has, so far, kept its word for most of us.

Absolutely agree. Since EA’s sticking-of-fingers into the bullet wounds they inflicted on Bioware, there have been few quality releases and numerous failed moves from the core franchises.
BG3 is a testament to what can happen when some CEO isn’t trying to leech each employee and “consumer” they can find.
