As promised, today a new version of the app has been released with the new feature of configurable swipe actions for posts/comments/mentions/replies, plus a couple of minor fixes and improvements according to your suggestions.
I’ve already been receiving some reports and we have an improved German translation thanks to reusityback so expect a .1 patch soon.
About the save/reply action colours, have changed them from the default, but the change isn’t evident…🤷🏻♂️
That’s strange, I made sure they are applied immediately and that they are persisted after every restart… uhm… looking into it further…
I’m assuming the action colour, changes the icon in the action bar when, when saving or replying?
The color is the background you see under the white icon when swiping on a card. I am struggling to understand (1) whether the actions were moved from the default slots e.g. having “reply” or “save” actions in the first slot instead of the second one on the right/end side (2) whether a custom color was set for those actions and, finally, (3) which changes were not applied and whether from the beginning of after a restart.
Please help me reproduce the issue with a step-to-step guide about the actions and what was the expected result (instead of the actual one). There may be a problem (since I made that feature late at night and did not test every edge case) but I could not reproduce it so far.
My mistake, I wasn’t using swipe actions, so had thought the colour of the saved icon itself would change when tapping to save. Having enabled the swipe actions I can now see that this is a background colour for the action itself, which works as you intended…My apologies 🙏🏼
No need to apologize, when a user says “it works” I’m happy 🎉🎉🎉 I’ll publish the rest of fixes soon anyway!

Have a doubt if the bottom navigation bar while inside a post has always been transparent or has it become so recently? Is there a way to make it opaque?
You can make it sticky by disabling the edge-to-edge option im settings but that’s not what you are asking. And you are right, the change has been introduced recently starting with version 1.5.3.
A proper way to solve this would be to add another option if edge-to-edge display is enabled, to make it not completely transparent but with just some alpha.
