New developer accounts created after November 13, 2023 will be required to have at least 20 testers for at least 14 days in the closed testing channel in order to be able to access open testing and production channels.

If you are an indie developer and are struggling to find enough testers, create a post and ask for people to participate. In exchange, be ready to test other people’s app. If everyone does their duty, we can work around this limititation and get our apps published.

Needless to say, you are encouraged to actually test the apps and report promptly, kindly, and with enough detail to reproduce any bugs/malfunctioning that you may encounter. We are devs, we care about quality!
